【摘要】 互联网的迅速发展为地理信息系统(GIS)提供了新的发展机遇，WebGIS已经成为GIS技术的突出亮点。目前，用于开发WebGIS的方法有许多种，如何使用合适的开发方法构造基于Internet的GIS应用是本文研究的重点。 论文首先介绍了地理信息系统的概念、应用和发展，在此基础上，详细分析了WebGIS结构、特点以及常用的开发方法，并分析了五种开发技术的优缺点，为下一步的系统开发指明了方向。论文详细讨论了目前应用较为广泛的WebGIS解决方案；并介绍了目前市场上常见的几种WebGIS产品。由于具有技术成熟、易开发等特点，目前基于COM／ActiveX的Web GIS得到广泛的应用。论文以MapInfo公司的相关产品MapXtreme为例，详细介绍了以MapXtreme作为开发平台的GIS开发方法。 论文的主要内容围绕“基于WebGIS的供水管网管理系统”的研究与开发，着重阐述了在Internet／Intranet环境下，基于WebGIS的管网管理信息系统的系统方案、开发平台及应用程序的设计等。最后给出了方案的功能设计及实现以及部分关键功能的实现原理，并分析了基于WebGIS的管理信息系统的发展方向。更多还原

【Abstract】 The spread of Internet provide a new opportunity for GIS, WebGIS has been A hotspot of GIS technology. Nowadays, there are many methods for WebGIS development. How to use suitable methods to build the Internet-based GIS application is the starting Point of this paper.Firstly, the paper introduce the concept, application and development of GIS And then analyse the structure, specialty and implement-method of Web GIS in detail, furthmore conclude excellence and disadvantage of five technology and point out direction for system development, and then, the paper discuss WebGIS scheme thatget extensive application now, and introduce several familiar WebGIS product in market.At present, the WebGIS based on COM/ActiveX has been applied widely because this method is steady-going and easy to use. Take the example of MapXtreme, the product of Maplnfo Inc, the paper detailedly explain exploitation method of GIS on the exploitation platform of MapXtreme. "Water supply pipe-network management system based on WebGIS" is the principal content.the article emphatically expatiate system project, exploitation platform and design of application program about the system. Finaly, the paper refer function design of project and how to realize, then show some principle about vital function.
