汽车电动助力转向系统(EPS)研究

【摘要】 理想的汽车助力转向系统不仅要求操纵轻便和灵敏,而且要求驾驶员有良好的“路感”。传统的液压助力转向系统在整个助力过程中按固定的比例提供转向助力,所以它能够提供有效的转向助力但还不能根本地解决汽车驾驶员操纵“路感”不足的问题。电动助力转向系统(Electric Power Steering System,简称EPS)与液压助力转向系统相比它有许多优点,该系统可在不更换系统硬件的情况下,通过对控制器软件的设计,十分方便地调节系统的助力特性,所以它在提高转向系统的操纵轻便性同时保证驾驶员能获得充分的路感,从而获得较为理想的助力特性。电动助力转向是转向系统中较新的技术,在国内发展很快,关于其性能和可靠性检测还未有统一的方法及评价标准,本文研究的目的主要是对针对电动助力转向的结构特点,分析了电动助力转向对汽车转向性能的影响,提出从转向轻便性、转向回正性、转向盘中间位置区域性能、转向盘振动、随动灵敏度和助力特性等方面进行电动助力转向系统转向性能的客观评价,并探讨了相应的评价指标,以及对电动转向系统的电机减速机构及其控制器、传感器、提出相应的技术要求与试验方法。并且在自行设计的台架上进行试验,以及参考相关中家标准对电动助力转向系统进行道路模拟试验。对电动助力转向助力控制规律、基本设计参数以及相关试验标准的确定有指导意义。

【Abstract】 An ideal steering system is not only easy to handle and more effective, but also provides the best steering feel to the driver. A conventional hydraulic power steering system uses power to supplement the force requirement to steer the wheel based on a fixed assist ratio of the driver’s input. So a conventional hydraulic power steering system is capable of providing power-assisted steering, but it is difficult to supply the best steering feel. Electric power steering system (EPS) is more appropriate to realize an ideal steering than a conventional hydraulic power steering system, because it is easy to optimize the steering system characteristic by adjusting parameters of the system’s controller.Electric power steering is a new structure with novel technique of power steering. The electric power steering brings new effects on the steering maneuvrability, steering returnability, etc.The evaluation of the conventional hydraulic power steering couldn’t be applied for the electric power steering. It is necessary to establish a new system for steering performance evaluation of electric power steering. This paper analyzes the effect of electric power steering on the steering performance based on it s configuration feature and then the object evaluation of steering performance of electric power steering is studied. The new system of evaluation includes steering maneuvrability, steering returnability, once enter handling performance, steering wheel vibration, servomotion sensitivity and assist characteristic. The corresponding evaluation indexes are also discussed. This research can determine the assist control strategy, the basic parameters and steering perform standard of electric power steering.
