无机纤维增强PMMA/HA人工颅骨复合材料的研究及应用

【摘要】 颅骨是用作防护的重要部位,起着支撑和保护脑组织的作用。目前用于颅骨修复的医用材料有医用金属及其合金、医用陶瓷、医用高分子、自体或异体骨等,单独应用这些材料,均存在一定的不足。医用高分子材料(如聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯,PMMA)虽具有良好的生物相容性,但某些物理机械性能不理想。本文研制了无机纤维增强PMMA/HA人工颅骨复合材料,该复合材料与金属材料、陶瓷材料和高分子材料相比,不仅具有良好的物理机械性能,而且具有良好的生物相容性和骨结合特性。 利用水热合成法、气流粉碎法和分级筛分等多种技术制备了粒径均一的HA晶体,平均粒径为280nm。 利用多层复合技术和模压技术制备来的人工颅骨复合材料,通过对其一系列性能测试(包括拉伸性能、压缩性能、弯曲性能、冲击韧性、层间剪切强度和冲击剪切强度等),证明了该复合材料具有良好的物理机械性能。采用排水法计算复合材料的平均密度为1.25kg/m~3,采用灼烧法计算复合材料的含胶量为57.7%,证明该复合材料比强度较高。 采用气相色谱法测定复合材料中微量甲基丙烯酸甲酯(MMA)的含量,其相对标准偏差小于0.022,平均回收率(n=4)为98.0%-99.1%,MMA的含量仅为0.20%,结果表明材料聚合度很高,具有安全性。用粘度法测算PMMA的粘均分子量为69.5x10~4。 将复合材料表面经特殊处理后形成粗糙面,植入体内后有利于组织细胞的附着和骨性结合。而且试样表面生成近似球形或片状的类骨磷灰石,属于与人体组织具有良好结合的碳酸羟基磷灰石。

【Abstract】 Skull is an important part, which is bracket and protect the brain. Now used for repairment metals include bio-metal and alloys, bio-ceramics and bio-macromolecule, self-bone or variant bone etc, alone applying these materials, which exsits shortage all to nothing. Bio-macromolecule (such as ploy methyl methacylate, PMMA) although has better bio-compatibility, some physics machine function are not ideal. This text has studied abio-fiber swelling PMMA/HA artificial skull composite material. It has not only better physics machine function, but also better bio-compatibility, bone-combined character than bio-metal and alloys, bio-ceramics and bio-macromolecule etc.Making use of the water heat synthesization method, air current comminution method and classification filtration composite technique has preparated even crystal of HA, average particle size is 280nm.Making use of many layers composite technique and heat press technique to make artificial skull, through a series of performance testes (including elongate performance, compress performance, curve performance, concussion performance, lay cut performance, concussion cut performance), making use of drainage method to calculate its average density, which is 1.25kg/m3, and combustion method to calculate its content of macromolecule, which is 57.7%. It is proved better physics machine function.Detecting the content of trace MMA from composite materials with gas phase chromatography method, The result shows that its relative criteria deviation is less than 0.022, average coefficient of recovery (n=4) is from 98.0 percent to 99.1 percent. Content of trace MMA is only 0.20%. the result shows material’s polymerization is very high and it takes on safety. Using adhesive degree method to measure and calculate molecular weight of PMMA, which is 69.5 104.The material’s surface can become rough after special disposal, which is benefit to organization cell adhesion and bone combination. It is discovered that artificial skull is marinated in simuted body fluid: the sample surface like-boneapatite belongs to carbonic acid hydroxide apatite, which can have good combination withhuman body orginzation.
