【摘要】 旅游业作为前景广阔的国际化产业，现已成为陕西省的一大支柱产业。实施西部大开发以及加入WTO对陕西旅游业而言，既是机遇又是挑战。如何面对挑战、抓住机遇，克服旅游业发展过程中存在的短期行为，如何把可持续发展理论运用于旅游业，实现旅游业的持续发展，如何提升陕西旅游业的整体形象，实现经济效益、社会效益和环境效益的统一，成为摆在我们面前的重要课题。 论文的研究从概括旅游业的特征和作用入手，探讨陕西旅游业发展过程中存在的问题，分析了旅游业面临的机遇与挑战，提出了六种可持续发展的模式，希望能够对促进陕西旅游业的发展有所启示。 本文的创新之处包括：将可持续发展理论运用于陕西旅游业，明确指出走可持续发展道路是陕西旅游业的必然选择；提出了陕西旅游业可持续发展的模式，具有一定的可行性。更多还原

【Abstract】 The tourism, an international prosperous industry, has become one of the pillars in shaanxi. In the face of development of China’s western region and the globalization after China’s acceding to the World Trade Orgnization, the following problems in shaanxi tourism should be solved: How to overcome the short-term tourism, how to apply the theory of sustainable development to tourism and, how to bring a whole tourism image in order to achieve a perfectly combinated return in economy, society and environment.Starting with the features & functions of tourism, -the essay analizes the opportunities & challenges of the development of shaanxi tourism, and then raises & elaborates six kinds of patterns, hope this paper can enlighten the development on shaanxi tourism.This paper’s theoretical innovation includes: Applying the sustainable development theory to practice, indicating the right way for shaanxi tourism to follow; and putting forward some sustainable development patterns which have certain feasibility.更多还原
