【摘要】 非言语符号翻译这一复杂而重要的课题正日益引起广大翻译理论研究者的重视。严格意义上来说，非言语符号的翻译应是指非言语符号描述的翻译。笔译者接触的并不是非言语符号的直接现实，而是原作者对非言语符号的描述。本文提出了非言语符号描述的重要性、原则及方法。翻译是一种跨文化交际活动；非言语符号在人类交际系统中起着极其重要的作用。本文从文化交流的角度出发，对非言语符号描述的笔译的原则及方法进行了探讨。笔者注意到在非言语符号移植进文中时会伴随产生某些影响笔译过程的有趣的现象，并对此作了尝试性研究。更多还原

【Abstract】 Translation of nonverbal signs is increasingly popular among researchers of translation theories. In the strict sense, translation of nonverbal signs refers to transference of description of nonverbal signs. The translator is not dealing with the naturally occurring nonverbal signs on a now-and-here basis, which he/she may perceive by the sense organs, but the description of those nonverbal signs. This is no easy job for the translator. This paper discusses the importance, principle and approaches for describing nonverbal signs. It is acknowledged that translation can be defined as a type of high-level intercultural communication, while nonverbal behavior constitutes an indispensable part of intercultural communication. This paper discusses principle and approaches for translating description of nonverbal signs from an intercultural perspective. The author also notices several interesting phenomena accompanying nonverbal signs finding way into the written text and discusses their respective influence on the translation process.更多还原
