【摘要】 芥川龙之介在日本文学史上有着极高的地位，究其原因，对东西方文化、对传统与现代文化的选择性吸收与巧妙融合及创新应是一个相当重要的因素。芥川在继承本民族传统文化上有着极大的广度和深度，最显著的表现就是占到了他小说近半数的历史小说，他在俳句创作方面也颇有成就。芥川的汉文化造诣在同时代作家中也是屈指可数的，除从汉文汉诗中获取题材和创作灵感，他更来到向往已久的中国，亲自体会文明古国的悠久文化。芥川还将目光投向了西方文学，从西方文学中获取了诸多精华。对现代中国的认识和对西方文学的借鉴使芥川的文学创作带上了更多的现代色彩，但这并不意味着就此抛弃了传统。他的历史小说是融合传统与现代的最佳文学样式，其笔下东方传统人物与西方基督精神的结合，更是别具一格的表现了西方文明对近代东方的冲击性影响。他尊重传统，但更希望在自己的创作中增加一些与时俱进的因素；他锐意进取，但总不会忘记以传统作为根源和基础。在当今的全球化语境下，这种贯通东西、融汇传统与现代的文学理念值得我们借鉴、发扬。更多还原

【Abstract】 Akudagawa Ryunosuke has extreme high status at Japanese Literary history. It is a quite important factor that he absorbs alternatively, merges ingeniously and innovates between the east and the west, the tradition and the modern culture. Akudagawa inherits the traditional national culture in great breadth and depth. The most remarkable expression is the historical novels which take the half of all his works. He also achieves success in the Japanese traditional literary form, Paiju. Akudagawa’s cultural attainment is very few among his contemporary writers. Besides the subject matter and inspiration from Chinese poem and articles, he even came to China in person to experience the long culture of the ancient civilized country. He pays attention to western literature also, and obtains a great deal of quintessence from it. Understanding about modern China and reference from western literature make his creation more modernistic, but this does not mean abandoning the tradition.The historical novel is the best form of merging tradition and modernity, and the combination of the eastern traditional characters in the works with western Christianism peculiarly represents the vital influence of the western civilization on the modern east. He respects tradition, and moreover hopes to increase some factors that grow with time in his own creation. He makes progress, but never forgets to regard tradition as the origin and foundation. This literary spirit of combining oriental with west, traditional with modern literature is worth learning, and especially developing for us in the present global context.更多还原
