TM-UWB无线通信技术中关于低PSD特性及“软件程度”的研究

【摘要】 UWB无线通信技术是一种不同于传统窄带通信技术的全新概念。与传统的无线通信技术采用Edwin Armstrong的定频识别的超外差结构不同,UWB无线通信技术使用码识别的无中频结构。UWB无线通信技术能够使无线信号跨越很宽的无线频谱,且与传统窄带无线信道共用频带,被誉为“终止频谱短缺并给军事和民用通信的很多方面带来革命”的“创造新频带”的无线通信技术,因此有助于解决无线频谱非常稀缺的问题。而且,UWB无线通信适于短距离室内无线传输,拥有比传统无线电产生高得多的数据传输率(100Mbps数量级),能很好地满足现代高速通信网络的日益增长的数据传输率需求。本文从一下三个方面对TM-UWB无线通信技术进行关于低功率谱密度特性的研究和“软件化”程度的探讨。首先,本文在比较系统地说明UWB通信的原理和从多个角度分析UWB无线通信的特点的基础上,对UWB无线通信的信道码跳时码的构造和在典型的数据调制方式下UWB跳时脉冲序列的功率谱密度进行理论推导,分析了伪随机跳时码的构造、调制方式、调制参数和脉冲波形等因素对其辐射PSD的平滑程度的影响。其次,本文就UWB无线通信技术在个人通信的潜在应用中可能出现的由无线信道的较高突发错误率和频繁切换造成的问题的解决进行研究。在最后一章,借助软件无线电的理念,对UWB通信系统的数字化实现方案进行分析并对其“软件程度”潜力进行评价。本文的研究工作是对UWB无线技术的一次有意义的探索,论文中体现的所得出的结论和思想对进一步研究和的未来应用不失为一种有益的积累,为以后的实用化开发创造条件。

【Abstract】 UWB (Ultra-wide Band) wireless communication (UWBWC) technology is grealtly different from the conventional narrow-band wireless communication technology. It really employs channel code to identify different user and has no IF stage, while the conventional, based on the Edwin Armstrong’s super-heterodyne architecture, adopts frequency discrimination in the spectrum and deals each application one distinguished frequency band. Taking up Ultra-wide frequency (GHz) band by sharing frequency band with several kinds of conventional wireless narrow-band communication, UWBWC technology is praised for its “creating new frequency spectra” and can lead to revolution in many aspects in military and civil communication. Besides, UWBWC technology is highly fit for indoor application over short rang, possess the transmission potentiality of much higher data rate (100Mbps) than the conventional counterpart, and so can meet the creasing need of modern high-speed communication network for data transmission. This thesis works over several aspects based on lower PSD specialty and software-defined implement of UWB communication system.In first three chapters, the thesis at first expatiates on the principle of UWBWC and summarizes its characters from different points of view. Then it deduces the mathematical formation of Pseudo-random Time-Hopping (TH) Code and PSD expression of UWB pseudo-random TH pulse sequence. So we can analyze how the factors, such as TH code, modulation mode, modulation parameters and UWB pulse shape, affect the PSD.In the fourth chapter, the thesis puts forward the potential application of UWB wireless communication in personal communication system (PCS) and tries to resolve the imaginable problems raised by the higher error data rate of wireless transmission and frequent hand-off in this application.In the last chapter, the thesis analyzes the all-digital implement scheme for UWB wireless communication system and evaluate its potential “software degree”. <WP=6>The thesis is one beneficial exploration of UWBWC technology. Its conclusion and thought should be useful accumulation for further research and future applications and so helpful for practical development.
