块状光学材料线性双折射测量方法研究

【摘要】 论文回顾了光学电流传感器近年来的进展,分析了该技术领域存在的问题,报告了线性双折射对块状光学材料电流传感器性能的影响。块状光学材料电流传感器的传感机理是法拉第效应,在影响传感器性能的诸多因素中,线性双折射是一个关键的因素。故对光学玻璃传感头内线性双折射进行测量对光学电流传感器的设计具有重要意义。然而对光学玻璃传感头内双折射的测量方法,目前还鲜见报道。本论文旨在填补这方面研究的空白。在论文中作者提出了几种测量光学玻璃内部线性双折射的方法并从理论研究、计算机仿真、实验验证三个方面对这些方法进行了研究。研究发现:在线性双折射较小的情况下,通过论文中提出的方法,可较好的测量出块状光学玻璃线性双折射的大小。

【Abstract】 In this paper the latest progress and existing problems in the field of optical current sensor is reviewed and analyzed, the effects of linear birefringence on the performance of Bulk-Material Optical Current Sensors (BMOCS) are investigated, the results are reported. BMOCS is based on the Faraday effect. Linear birefringence is one of the important factors that affect the performance of BMOCS. The measurement of the inner linear birefringence in optical glass sensing head is significant to the design of BMOCS. However, the report about the method of measuring the inner linear birefringence of optical glass sensing head is rarely to seen. The aim of this paper is to fill the blank in this area of research. In this paper, the author proposes some methods of measuring the inner linear birefringence of optical glass sensing head and researches these methods by means of theoretical analysis, computer simulation and experimental investigation. The results show that when the linear birefringence is small, the linear birefringence of the bulk glass can be effectively measured by the methods reported in this paper.
