【摘要】 虚拟现实技术正从贵族化走向平实，从试验室走入我们的生活。如果说二十一世纪影响人类社会生活的最伟大的革命是数字化技术的推广，那么最伟大的数字化技术成果就是虚拟现实。这一技术正在深刻地影响和改变着我们的生活，从此我们的生活展现了两个截然不同的世界：一个是我们所处的现实世界；另一个是基于计算机仿真的虚拟世界。两种世界的不断交织，闪现着人类智慧和创造力的火花。探索虚拟世界的奥秘成了我们学习和工作的一部分。 由于虚拟现实技术是动态的，不断发展的。从最初的VRML(虚拟现实建模语言)到当今百花齐放的X3D技术，令人目不暇接。但所谓万变不离其宗，VRML作为经典的编程语言是当今所有最先进的虚拟现实技术的本源。鉴于此，笔者重点分析了VRML的技术细节(第三章)。同时也兼顾了当今最先进的虚拟现实技术及其构造平台(软件)，并且在实际应用方面作了详细的讲解(第四章)。 此外，笔者深感虚拟现实技术得到了长足发展的同时，虚拟现实的美学研究却尚未跟进。虽然虚拟现实美学可以从传统的艺术与设计作品的美学理论中找到身影，但试图完全用传统的美学理论来诠释这一视觉审美新领域则显得捉襟见肘。对其审美特征进行初步的探索和研究成了本论文的创新点(第二章)。 本论文在撰写过程中，最大的特色是注重理论与实践的结合。采用大量的图例配合具体的研究或设计实例。可以为虚拟现实研究人员提供设计思路和制作方法。更多还原

【Abstract】 The technology of virtual reality is stepping from mirage into reality, from laboratories into our daily life. If the greatest revolution is the spread of digital technology in the 21st century, the greatest achievement is virtual reality. And this technology deeply affects and charges our life, dividing into two different sections: real and unreal (virtual) world. The two mingle together, and catch the flash of human intelligence and creativity. Probing its origins and mysteries is a part of job.It is increasingly developing due to its dynamic. From the earliest VRML (Virtual Reality Modeling Language) to present X3D, changes make us not sleep a wink. However, they stay much the same. Being a classical programming language, VRML is an origin of advanced virtual technology. In view of it, the author stresses technical details (in the chapter Ⅲ) , examines the most advanced technology and structure platform (software), moreover, gives detailed explanation in practice (in the chapter IV).Besides, the author holds a view that with the development of virtual reality technology, virtual aesthetic research hasn’t kept up. Some traces can be found from aesthetics of traditional art and design works, yet virtual aesthetics has too many difficulties to cope with the traditional one. Thus, exploring its aesthetic features is a fresh topic(in the chapter Ⅱ).Through this paper, theory and practice are integrated.
