基于移动Agent的网格资源发现与监控模型的研究

【摘要】 网格资源的发现与监控是网格中的一个核心问题。在网格计算环境中存在各种动态的资源,它们在地理位置上是分布的,在运行平台上是异构的,又可以动态地加入或离开不同的虚拟组织(Virtual Organization)。因此,如何有效的发现网格资源,监控网格资源状态,使网格应用程序能够准确的使用各种资源就成为必须要解决的问题。本文首先介绍了网格的基本概念、研究现状和发展趋势,对目前最主要的网格计算项目Globus和移动Agent技术进行了分析和研究。然后,本文提出了基于移动Agent的网格资源发现和监控模型,并且详细介绍了模型的设计思想,总体框架,各个模块的系统结构和安全策略。最后,将本模型和Globus的发现与监控服务进行了全面的分析与比较,给出了总体的评价。基于移动Agent的网格资源发现与监控模型不同于普通的网络监控和网络管理。它创新性的采用移动Agent技术来解决网格资源监控问题,充分适应了网格环境的特点,既保证了网格监控的准确性和高效性,又具有良好的可扩展性。总之,基于移动Agent的网格资源发现与监控模型具有较高的研究价值和很好的商业前景。

【Abstract】 Grid resources discovery and monitoring is the core problem of grid. In grid computing environment, there are all kinds of dynamic resources available. They are distributed, heterogeneous and could join or leave different virtual organizations dynamically. So how to find grid resources, how to monitor the status of grid resources, how to take advantage of them by grid application is the problem which must be solved.Firstly, this paper introduces the basic concept of grid, research status, and developing trend, analyzes the most popular computing grid project - Globus. Then it puts forward the Grid Resource Discovery and Monitoring Model based on Mobile Agent, and specifies the design ideology, architecture, system structures of every modules and security strategy. At last, it compares the model with the Globus Monitoring and Discovery Service completely, and draws a conclusion.Grid Resource Discovery and Monitoring Model based on Mobile Agent is different from network monitoring and network management. It innovates to use mobile agent to solve the problem of Grid Monitoring, not only with veracity and efficiency, but also with expansibility. In a word, the model has research and commercial value.
