试论中国报业的市场结构与竞争战略

On the Market Structure and Competitive Strategies of China’s Newspaper Industry

【摘要】 本文援引产业组织学、制度经济学和竞争战略学中的相关理论主要讨论了中国报业的市场结构、制度创新和竞争战略等问题。 提出这些问题主要是基于报业经济发展壮大、报业加入WTO后面临的机遇和挑战以及把握正确的舆论导向的要求等三方面的考虑。 除导言之外,全文共由三大部分构成。导言部分包括研究问题的提出、研究意义、研究方法以及基本思路。第一部分主要从市场集中、进入与退出障碍、规模经济和范围经济等角度,分析中国报业的市场结构;第二部分从论述报业的经济属性和政治属性的关系出发,讨论报业的制度创新和有效竞争;第三部分主要从成本领先战略、差异化战略、集中战略、创新战略等方面阐述中国报业的竞争战略。

【Abstract】 This paper probes into the market structure, the institutional innovation, and competitive strategies of China’s newspaper industry on the basis of the relevant theories of Industry Economics, System Economics, and Competitive Strategy.Advancing those propositions is mainly concerned with three aspects: the development of China’s newspaper industry, the opportunities and challenges facing newspaper industry after China’s access to WTO, the need of the assurance of the opinion guide.Other than the preface, it consists of three parts. Preface puts forward the propositions, the research significance, the research methods and the basis train of thoughts of this article as well. Part One analyses the market structure of China’s newspaper industry through the angles of market concentration, scale economy and scope economy, and barriers of access and exit. Part Two discusses the institutional innovation and the workable competition of China’s newspaper industry on the basis of the analysis of the relationship of its economic features and politic features. Part Three expounds the overall cost leadership strategy, the differentiation strategy, the focus strategy, and the innovation strategy of China’s newspaper industry.
