电力线扩频载波通信芯片设计

【摘要】 电力线通信具有方便、经济、快捷等优点,是目前通信技术的一个研究重点和难点。虽然国内也有相关产品问世,但大多局限在进行系统“组装”,对于其核心技术—电力线通信芯片的设计仍然是一个空白。本文在这一背景下进行了尝试,研究如何设计电力线通信芯片。 本论文的第一部分主要介绍了电力线通信技术,偏重于理论分析。在介绍了电力线通信的背景及优势后,重点讨论了几种电力线通信方式,特别是具有优越性能的扩频通信技术。第二部分则在理论分析的基础上,详细介绍了电力线扩频载波通信芯片的设计方法。首先是提出了一种电力线扩频通信方案,然后利用系统仿真软件SystemView对其进行仿真分析,最后按照VLSI设计流程详细说明了该芯片的设计过程。 本论文的成果有:总结了电力线信道的特性,建立了其SystemView仿真模型:提出了一种采用扩频技术,可数字化实现的电力线通信方案:用理论分析和SystemView仿真,对方案的原理和性能进行了分析:提出了一种芯片设计方法,得到了设计方案的芯片版图。 本论文将层次化设计方法应用于芯片设计中,并提出利用系统仿真软件进行方案仿真和模块划分,然后再将各模块用硬件描述语言来实现。论文充分体现了理论与实践相结合的思想,将理论推导和实际电路的设计结合起来。同时,论文在介绍芯片设计的过程中,侧重于所用的设计方法和思想。但愿本人所做的这些工作能给后来者一些借鉴。

【Abstract】 With the advantage,of convenience and money-saving,the power line carrier communication is the emphases and difficulty of communication technology. Products of this field inland are mostly just "building blocks" of electronic components. As the core technology,1C design in power line communication is still at its first step. Under this background,the need for a power line communication chip,suited to the channel character of our country,came out.The first part of the dissertation covers power line communication technology,focus on theory analysis. After the introduction of power line communication’s background and advantage,some power line communication methods were given,especially the spread spectrum technology. And in the second part,based on the theory analysis,the design method of our digital 1C was introduced. Firstly,a power line spread spectrum communication scheme was brought out and then it was simulated in system simulation software. System View. With the simulation,the detail design parameter came out. At last,following a typical VLSI design process,was the way that how the chip was designed.Achievements of the dissertation include:The character of the power line channel was studied and its simulation model for SystemView was built. A power line communication scheme was given,whose strongpoint is Spread Spectrum and digital implement. By theory analysis and SystemView simulation,detail principle and performance of the scheme was analyzed. A new chip design method was explained and the chip layout was given at last.The dissertation emphasized hierarchy design methodology and combination of theory and practice. It presented the use of system simulation software to divide modules,and the way how to translate modules to Verilog. Wish all the work could be helpful to the followers in chip design of power line communication.
