反求工程在工业设计中的应用研究

【摘要】 反求工程是从实物模型测得的数据,构造出该物体CAD模型,继而将这些模型用于产品的分析和制造。相对于传统的正向设计方式,反求工程适用于只有产品或实物模型,没有产品图纸的条件下实现产品的制造。因此,反求工程在机械、航空、航天、医疗等领域的应用日益广泛并得到了越来越多的重视。 工业设计是提高产品市场竞争力的有力工具,然而在我国,工业设计仍未发挥其应有的作用,其中有一个重要的原因,就是由于设计环境和设计手段的局限,限制了设计师的创造能力的发挥以及和工程技术人员有效的交流与协调。使得新产品的开发效率低下,进展缓慢。工业设计需要一种新的设计手段和思路。 尽管反求工程目前由于自身发展的不成熟,主要用于仿制、复制,但它在产品引进、复杂曲面建模等方面有其独到的优势,因此,如果应用工业设计中,进行产品的改进创新设计,将能发掘出巨大的潜力。 本论文根据反求工程的技术流程,利用现有的软硬件设施,尝试将反求工程引入到工业设计中,通过对一系列产品的三维测量、数据处理、CAD模型重建和输出工作,研究了工业设计中产品反求的一般过程和遇到的一些问题;通过对剃须刀保护盖的多次测量,探讨了反求策略在产品测量中的重要作用以及现有测量设备应该完善的地方;通过对螺旋桨叶片的测量、数据处理和建模,探讨了目前主要的曲面重构方法以及反求软件的不足,指出了未来面向工业设计的反求工程软件应解决的问题。 本论文根据工业设计的工作流程,探讨了反求工程所得的CAD模型在建立之后的主要用途,并根据工业设计的特点,研究了反求工程的配套技术——快速成型技术给工业设计带来的积极变化及其在工业设计中的适用范围和应用价值。 本论文还从工业设计的目的入手,研究了利用反求工程进行产品造型创新设计的可行性,并对反求过程在工业设计系统中的集成以及在各阶段的创新手段做了相应的探讨,并研究了反求工程在引入到工业设计之后所带来的积极影响。 综上所述,在我国工业设计领域进行反求工程技术的应用研究,将对提高我国产品造型的设计水平,降低产品设计成本,加快产品更新换代的速度,增强产品在国际市场上的竟争力有着很强的促进作用。本论文的研究工作丰富了工业产品造型设计的理论和方法,将促进反求工程在工业设计中的应用和推广。

【Abstract】 Reverse Engineering (RE) refers to the process of creating engineering design data from existing parts. Some product’ s figure is very complicated and is hard to build CAD model directly. To resolve this question, Designers and engineers use some material like clay or wooden mock-ups to make a model of the product, scan it by 3D measuring machine, get the data of the figure, then build it’ s CAD model on the basis of the scan data. And sometimes we need to clone and re-create an existing product. The Reverse Engineering technology enables us to create the CAD model of the new product quickly by capturing the surface of a model using laser digitizers or coordinate measuring machines.Reverse Engineering, as a method of design, has been used in many fields. It’ s proved that the period of the design can be shorten remarkably. So, in recent years, Reverse Engineering is getting accepted by more and more enterprises.As the main tool to enhance the value of the product, Industry Design is becoming more and more important in the market compete, consumer make the choice not only by the function, but also by the appearance of the product. As product varieties increase and life cycles shorten, the need to reduce development time becomes more critical to maintain competitiveness in the market. Though the CAID (Computer Aided Industry Design) has been widely used, that’s not enough. Designers need more powerful tool to make their concept come true and they need to re-create new product on the basis ofinold product.in this thesis, the theory and application of Reverse Engineering in the Industry Design fields are researched in details, which are compared with that of forward design. Some key technologies in the reverse engineering, such as data measuring, data disposal, data output and freeform surface reconstruction are discussed and some actual application examples are showed in the thesis. How to use Reverse Engineering in Industry Design as a creative tool is studied.If Reverse Engineering is integrated in Industry Design as a tool to ameliorate the appearance of old product, the period of the development would be shorten, the cost would be reduced, the level of Industry Design in Yunnan would be improved.
