红外景象合成与MPEG-2编码系统硬件设计与实现

【摘要】 本文分两部分。 第一部分介绍了红外景象合成器硬件系统的设计过程。本文在详细分析了原有红外场景产生器的基础上,提出了一种采用可配置定时、控制单元模块来提高硬件系统灵活性和适应性的方法。在新系统中,输出图像的分辨率、帧频、信噪比、非均匀特性以及信号输出格式等参数都可以从软件上方便地进行修改。本系统为红外导引头跟踪系统的研制提供了一种有效的测试手段。 第二部分介绍了MPEG-2活动图像压缩标准及压缩板的设计过程。MPEG-2标准是为了满足对诸如数字存储媒体,电视传播以及通信等应用中对运动图像及相关音频一般的编码方法的日益增长的需求而制定的。MPEG-2标准系统层定义的传输流考虑了传输信道中干扰的影响,使MPEG-2码流可以在通信信道中传输。本文研制的MPEG-2编码板可以将PAL制视频信号压缩为MPEG-2传输流,为电视信号的传输提供了一种有效的途径。
【Abstract】 There are two parts in this paper.ln the first part, a new system of real-time infrared scene sequence generation, based on personal computer, is presented. It takes the advantage of the previous real-time scene generator and meets the new requirements. To improve the adaptability and flexibility, a new method which uses a configurable timing-control module is introduced. In the new system, the parameters of scene sequence, such as SNR, resolution, can be configured through software.In the second part, a video coding system based on MPEG-2 standard is discussed. MPEG-2 standard is specified to meet the increasing need of the digital storage media, interactive television, High-Define Television and etc. MPEG-2 standard defines two data structures, i.e., Transport Stream(TS) and Program Stream(PS). The IS offers robustness neceesary for noisy channels. The video coding system discussed in this part can transform the PAL video signal to MPEG-2 TS. It offers an effective method for video signal transmitting.
