英汉委婉语之对比研究

【摘要】 委婉语是人们在社会交往中为谋求理想的交际效果而创造的一种适当的语言形式，其主要作用是代替禁忌语。委婉语是各个时代，各个国家都采用的，因而具有普遍性。 语言是文化的载体。不同的社会背景，不同的历史文化会产生不同的委婉语。作为人类语言使用过程中的一种普遍现象，委婉语从独特的角度反映了一个民族的历史文化、风俗习惯。 本文拟从英汉委婉语的产生发展原因、构造手段及原则、与宗教的关系等几方面对英汉委婉语加以对比分析，进一步探讨二者的异同及其反映出的人类共性和民族特殊性。更多还原

【Abstract】 Euphemism has probably existed from the beginning of language. Its main function is to substitute taboo words to achieve a desirable communicative effect. As a common linguistic phenomenon in all languages, euphemisms have been used in all times and all countries. There is no doubt that language is the carrier of culture. Since different societies, different histories and cultures produce different euphemisms, euphemisms can reflect history, culture and customs of a nation from a unique angle. This thesis makes a comparative study of English and Chinese euphemisms from the aspects of motives for generating euphemisms, ways of euphemizing, developmental principles, relationship with religion, etc, and explores their similarities and differences and the characteristics of different nations euphemisms reflect.更多还原
