一扇为读者打开的窗——亨利·詹姆斯作品的聚焦模式分析

【摘要】 亨利·詹姆斯是十九世纪末、二十世纪初英美文学的重要作家，同时也是其时由现实主义向现代主义过渡的代表作家。他提出并阐述新的小说理论，如“意识中心说”，这是一种有限的视角，故事完全由一个或几个人物所看、所听、所感、所思构成，即由一个或几个精巧细致的“意识中心”来讲述故事，作者极少出现，作品的统一性连贯性由于视点的单一性得到了最大限度的强调。这种视点的出现打破了在詹姆斯之前一统天下的全知视点，为文学开创了一个新的领域。本文将以法国叙事学家热奈特的聚焦模式理论为主要依据，在详细阐述三种主要聚焦模式的同时，以“聚焦模式”的概念对詹姆斯的作品加以分析。更多还原

【Abstract】 Henry James is an important novelist of the century turn, as well as the representative novelist of the transitional period between Realism and Modernism. He initiates and expounds new theories on writing novel, entral intelligence as an instance. This is a limited point of view, with which the novel can be constituted by what one or more character sees, hears, feels and thinks. This one or more character can be called entral intelligence They narrate and the novelist rarely comes to stage. Thus the unity and coherence of the novel are emphasized to the utmost by the singleness of the point of view. The appearance of this kind of point of view opens up a new prospect for both English and American literature. In the light of the focalization mode theory by French narratologist, Renette, the thesis elaborates the three main focalization mode, and then analyzes several novels of Henry James by utilizing the concept of focalization mode.更多还原
