基于GSP的光栅显示器研究

【摘要】 多功能智能型终端显示器广泛应用于机场航管、雷达终端显示器、军事指挥等场合。长期以来,大量应用的是随机扫描显示器。但随着终端显示信息量的增大,随机扫描体制的缺陷便逐渐突出了:显示容量太小,颜色太少。无法胜任智能型终端的显示需求。光栅扫描型终端显示器采用了光栅扫描体制,广泛应用计算机技术和大容量存储器构成显示系统。通过加载不同的显示软件,光栅扫描显示器可以满足许多复杂的显示需求。 本文综合对比了光栅扫描显示器的各种实现方案,提出了一种新型的实现方案。以高性能的图形系统处理器(GSP)作为核心,首次运用SDRAM作为图形存储器,大量应用FPGA/CPLD器件完成逻辑设计,并用MAX+PLUSⅡ完成时序仿真。对新型结构的光栅扫描显示器进行了进一步的研究。

【Abstract】 Multifunctional intelligent terminal display has been widely applied to the airdrome aviation-controlled, radar terminal display, military affairs command occasion and so on. For a long time, the random scan display has been applied in abundance in these fields. While along with the increasing of the terminal display information, the limitation of the random scan system is gradually projected, such as the small display capacity and the few of color. The random scan system can’t be competent for the display demand of intelligent terminal. Raster scan terminal display adopts raster scan system, widely uses the computer technology and high capacity graphic memory to make up of the display system. Through loading with the different display software, raster scan display can satisfy much complicated display demand. Synthetically contrast with the all kinds of projects, a new-style achieving project to the raster scan display is brought forward in this paper. With the high performance GSP (graphics system processor) making up of the core, using SDRAM as graphic memory for the first time, designing the logic circuits with FPGAICPLD, completing simulation with Max+Plus II , some valuable researches of the new-style raster scan display have been carried out.
