【摘要】 现如今我们从市面上的不少书籍可以看到，各种华而不实的书籍层出不穷，书籍装帧的整体性在被人们忽视，书籍装帧设计者在所谓美感的追求中走向了一个误区。设计者的目的或许是为书锦上添花，殊不知成了画蛇添足、过犹不及了。书籍的平面板式被充分全面的利用到了，反而忽视了书籍本身的大形象。使其给人视觉上的繁密，而适当使用空白设计可以弥补视觉上的缺陷。空白是一种无声的语言，在书籍装帧设计中起着至关重要的作用。空白设计是具有特殊的审美心理，它并不意味着无，很多时候它比繁密的画面更具有想象力和塑造力，它传递着读者丰富的联想，让读者可以在空白设计的意境中去补充自己的思想。在中国传统的诗词、书法、绘画、戏剧及园林建筑等中对空白设计已有了广泛地运用。书籍装帧设计中的空白设计是版面设计必然涉及到的艺术语言和构成形式，其空白设计的表现形式丰富多样。合理运用空白设计，可以保持书籍版面的整体感及协调读者的视觉规律，从而使版面产生其独特的魅力和美感。适当地留出空白，能给人们提供许多想象的空间，有利于强化观者的感受，获得视觉上的轻松，从而体现设计“以少胜多”的价值性。本文试图从空白设计在中国书籍装帧未来的发展趋势的角度出发，通过研究空白设计在书籍装帧设计中的表现和运用，及其特殊的艺术感染力，论述空白设计在书籍装帧设计中的地位、作用和魅力，以期拓宽现代设计者的视野，使其接触到更多的思维设计，从而把设计作品推向更好的审美境界，让空白设计成为书籍装帧设计中不可缺少的创意表现形式。更多还原

【Abstract】 Now we can see many flashy books on the market, which holism of book bindingis neglected by people, and book designers go to a misunderstanding in the so-calledaesthetic pursuit. The designer’s goal may be the icing on the cake to books, but becamesuperfluous. The flat plate of books is full used, but ignored the book itself, thus peoplein dense view and the appropriate use of blank design can make up the defects of vision.The blank is a kind of silent language which plays a crucial role in the bookbinding design. Blank design is a special aesthetic psychology, it does not mean no,many times it is more imaginative and creative than luxuriant picture, and it passes therich imagination of reader, so that the reader can supplement their own thoughts inblank design conception. In Chinese traditional poetry, calligraphy, painting, drama andlandscape architecture, blank design has been widely used. Blank design in bookbinding design is the inevitable art language and combination in layout with variedforms. Rational use of blank design, can keep the overall sense of the layout andcoordinate readers’ visual rule, thereby enabling the layout has its unique charm andbeauty. Proper blank, which can provide a lot of imagination to the people, help tostrengthen the feeling of readers, obtain visual rest, and embodies the value of "less ismore" in design.This article attempts to discuss the position, role and charm of blank design inbook binding design from the future development trend of blank design in book bindingdesign in China, through the study of performance, application and special artisticappeal of blank design in book binding design to widen the vision field of moderndesigners who can contact more thinking design and can design his works to a betteraesthetic realm, thus let the blank design to be an indispensable form of creativeexpression in book binding design.更多还原
