MB-OFDM UWB技术在多模光纤中的应用研究

【摘要】 MB-OFDM UWB作为当今UWB两大主流标准之一,融合了OFDM和UWB两大技术优势,可以满足现今人们对通信提出的高质量、高带宽、高速率的要求。多模光纤不但具有高带宽、低衰落、抗干扰性能好等诸多优点,还在实际应用中具有操作简单、节约工程成本的巨大优势。将MB-OFDM UWB技术与多模光纤技术结合研究,旨在实现两种技术的优势互补,具有很高的研究及应用价值。本文分别从以下几方面对课题进行了研究和阐述:(1)介绍了UWB技术的发展历程,研究了MB-OFDM UWB的基本原理和关键技术。(2)对多模光纤的相关理论进行了概括,着重对多模光纤模式色散原理进行了阐述和分析。多模光纤的模式色散问题是影响多模光纤传输性能的最主要因素,所以MB-OFDM UWB技术能否很好的应用在多模光纤中,最重要的是要看它能否很好的克服多模光纤的模式色散。(3)结合MB-OFDM UWB技术特点从理论上分析证明了该技术具有较好克服多模光纤的模式色散的能力。为了使理论分析更具说服力,本文应用MATLAB和Optisystem仿真软件搭建了实验仿真平台,通过对比实验相关数据,验证了MB-OFDM UWB技术确实能够较好的克服多模光纤的模式色散,从而说明了将MB-OFDM UWB技术应用在多模光纤中是可行的。(4)通过学习和研究多模光纤通信系统知识发现,系统中存在的非线性失真问题制约着MB-OFDM UWB信号的可靠传输,因此本文对光纤系统非线性问题进行了分析。并针对其中的MZ调制器非线性调制问题进行了深入的研究,并提出了利用PAPR抑制算法对MB-OFDM UWB信号进行调整来解决上述问题的方法,并通过仿真实验证明了该方法的正确性。

【Abstract】 MB-OFDM UWB is one of the UWB two mainstream standards, the technologycontains the OFDM and the UWB two major technologies’ advantages, can satisfythe nowadays people’s requirements to the communication, which are highcommunication quality, high bandwidth, the high bit rate. Multimode fiber not onlyhas high bandwidth and low decline, anti-jamming performance good, and many otheradvantages, but also has simple operation, low cost of the enormous advantage inpractical application. The research of MB-OFDM UWB technology under themultimode fiber, the aim is to realize the complementary advantages of the twotechnologies. Therefore, the subject has a very high research and application value.This article mainly has the following several aspects:(1) This paper introduced the UWB technology development history, studied theMB-OFDM UWB basic principle and key technology.(2) Introduced the multimode fiber related theory, mainly illustrated andanalyzed multimode fiber’s mode dispersion principles. Mode dispersion problem isthe most main factors of multimode fiber transmission properties, so MB-OFDMUWB technology can be a good application in multimode fiber or not, the mostimportant is to see if it can be very good overcome multimode fiber dispersion of themodel.(3) Theoretically proved the technology for multimode fiber mode dispersionhave very good resistance, which combined with MB-OFDM UWB technologycharacteristics. In order to make the theoretical analysis more convincing, this paperapply MATLAB and Optisystem simulation software built experimental simulationplatform, and the simulation results confirm the validity of the which illustrates theMB-OFDM UWB technology and multimode fiber combination is feasible. (4) Through the study and research of multimode fiber communication systemknowledge, we know that existing of nonlinear distortion problem in the systemprevents MB-OFDM UWB signal’s reliable transmission, so in this paper, weanalysed the nonlinear problems. And deeply research MZ modulator’s nonlinearmodulation, and puts forward using PAPR suppression algorithm to adjustMB-OFDM UWB signal to solve the above problems, and through the experimentalsimulation results prove the feasibility of this method.
