47寸单短边入光型导光板的设计与优化

【摘要】 侧光式背光模组,尤其单短边入光型,可以大幅减少液晶显示器所用光源数目,降低了整体背光模组的功耗,并且为超薄液晶显示器提供了保障,所以将会是近几年的发展潮流。导光板作为侧光式背光系统中重要组件,影响着背光源的光学属性,进一步影响着显示器的画面质量,高性能导光板的研究是整体背光源开发中重要的工作。本论文就以47寸单短边入光型的导光板展开了工作,整个研究工作是以光学模拟软件LightTools为平台进行的。首先,我们进行了网点设计工作,是导光板开发中最为复杂的过程,也是影响导光板光学性能的重要因素。第一步,在软件中建立尽量接近于实际的模型,简化各组件光学属性设置以突出其本身的特性,重点分析了网点的光学属性各项参数的影响,其中近镜面反射和漫射属性的比例对整体亮度分布影响不大,只是漫射属性越大近光源处越亮,反之,近镜面发射属性越大远光源处亮度越高;而高斯角度的变化对整体亮度分布影响比较大,角度越大,光越集中在近光源处,反之,角度越小,光更集中在远光源处。第二步,在软件自动优化网点分布得出结果后,进行曲面拟合的工作,调整网点填充率不符合实际的细节,一般在10-15次后效果较好,即不失真也能做到平滑过渡。第三步,制作样品,将仿真结果与试验测试相对照为下一次改善提供依据。我们做的4次样品中第4次效果已经较为理想。其次,为了得到满足扫描背光所需的长条形光斑,我们对透镜导光板进行了仿真模拟研究,发现在加工工艺允许的范围内,排布越紧密、尺寸越大的半圆形透镜微结构会有最好的光斑效果。

【Abstract】 Edge-lit backlight module, especially single-short-edge-lit type, can significantly reduce the number of light sources used in liquid crystal displays and the power consumption of the backlight module, and provide a guarantee for the ultra-thin LCD. So it will be the development trends in the last few years. The light guide plate as an important component in the edge-lit backlight system, affect the optical properties of the backlight and the quality of the screen. So the high-performance LGP is the key to the whole backlight.The whole research work of this thesis is based on the47inch single-short-edge-lit type LGP and optical simulation software LightTools.Firstly, we conducted a dots pattern design which is the most complex process and an important factor to the LGP optical properties. Step one, we established a model close to the real one in the software, simply setting the parameters of various components to highlight their own characteristics. Then we focused on the influence of various parameters of the dots pattern optical properties. The ratio of nearly specular reflection and scattering has little effect on the brightness distribution. The greater is scattering properties, the brighter is the area near light source. The change of Gaussian angle relatively has large impact on the brightness distribution. The smaller is the angle, the brighter is the area far from light source. Step two, the result has been fitted after the software automatically optimize the dots pattern distribution, to adjust the unrealistic fill rate of dots pattern. Usually the result is better in10-15times, which is smooth and not distorted. Step three, the samples has been made, which is used for the comparison of simulation results and experimental tests. The fourth sample has the great result.Secondly, in order to get a long strip spot needed to meet the scanning backlight, the lenticular LGP has been simulated. We found that more closely arranged and the larger size semi-circular lens microstructure has the best spot effect.
