师范生通识教育的困境与思路

【摘要】 通识教育一直是教育界研究的热点,研究中心主要围绕着通识教育概念的辨析、通识教育与专业教育的关系、以不同专业为背景的通识教育研究等方面展开,然而很少有人研究师范生的通识教育问题。作者认为现阶段对师范生的通识教育问题关注不够,忽略了通识教育对于师范生的重要性与特殊性,由此,作者选取了位处重庆的X大学作为研究的个案,通过对X大学师范生、教师的随机抽样调查,发现X大学在对师范生进行通识教育的过程中,存在四个突出问题:师生在通识教育认识上不到位;通识教育课程设置不合理;通识教育教学质量参差不齐;通识教育师范性缺失。在分析师范生通识教育所面临的困境后,作者总结出四个导致这些困境的原因:一是价值理性与工具理性的冲突;二是通识课程设置的高难度;三是教师与学生本身的局限性;四是师范教育对通识教育的特殊要求。通过分析,作者在前人研究的基础上提出了四个相应的解困对策:一是明确通识教育理念;二是加强通识教育选修核心课程建设;三是促进教师专业共同体的有机团结;四是探索课程与生活联系的有效途径。

【Abstract】 The general education has been a hot education research for a long time, the center of the research is the analysis of the concept of general education, the relationship between general education and professional education, and study on general education of different professional backgrounds and so on. Yet, few people research the problem of the normal student’s general education.I think that, at the present stage, the relevant researches did not pay enough attention to the normal student’general education, and ignored the importance and particularity of the general education for the Normal School Students. For this reason, author chose X University located in Chongqing Province as a study case. Based on the random sampling investigation on the normal students and teachers of X University, there are four problems:1.Terchers and students do not understand General Education completely.2. Curriculum setting is unreasonable.3. Teaching quality is uneven.4. General education is lack of attention on normal education.After analyzing the problems of general education what faced by students, authors summarized four leading reasons:the first is a conflict between value rationality and instrumental rationality; the second is higher difficulty of general education curriculum setting; the third is limitation of teachers and students, and the last is the special requirements of normal student education from general education. On the basis of the former researches, I propose four corresponding relief measures:firstly, making the concept of general education definitely; secondly, enhance the building of the general educational elective core curriculum; thirdly, promote the organic solidarity of teacher professional community; fourthly, search for the effective way of connecting curriculum and life.
