基于IMS网络的短信中心设计与实现

【摘要】 随着消费者对电信业务需求的不断提高,传统电信业务的瓶颈也就日益凸显,运营商不得不建立强大的业务支撑环境,提供多样化、个性化的融合电信业务来解决这一问题,而下一代网络解决方案则是问题的解决方法。下一代网络的趋势在于网络融合,即传统电信网、因特网与广电网络的融合,三网优势互补,则可为消费者提供丰富多彩的语音、数据、视频服务与体验。IMS网络作为一种以传统互联网通信协议——SIP协议为基础的新型电信网络,对传统互联网中的即时消息、呈现等业务具有较好的支持,但是对传统电信网络中的短信等业务支持的不好,这导致了电信业务无法平滑过渡,妨碍了软交换网络向IMS网络的演进。论文设计并实现了一个融合软交换网络和IMS网络的短信中心,以支持短信业务从软交换网络到IMS网络的平滑迁移。基于IMS网络的设计原理,IMS短信中心必须以IMS应用服务器的模式实现对短信业务的支持,这涉及到用户的第三方注册、IMS号码与非IMS号码地址解析、IMS SIP协议与软交换SIP协议差异等问题。论文从IMS短信中心在IMS网络中的位置和角色出发,基于软交换短信中心功能与IMS网络在支持短信服务中的需求差异分析,提出IMS短信中心的特殊功能要求,设计IMS SIP协议适配方法、第三方注册处理逻辑、ENUM地址解析处理逻辑、融合短信路由处理规则等,从而实现对不同的运营商、不同的核心网设备、融合IMS核心网络和软交换网络的短信中心设备,并进行了测试。

【Abstract】 As the consumers’demand for telecommunications services continuously improve, the bottleneck of traditional telecommunications services will become increasingly prominent. Operators had to build a strong business support environment, providing diverse, personalized integration of telecommunications services to solve this problem, and Next Generation Network (NGN) solutions is a way to the problem.SIP is based communication protocol in IMS, as a traditional Internet communication protocol, it supports instant messaging, presence business well, but the short message and the other telecommunication business support badly, which hinders Softswitch network evolution to the IMS network.In this paper, I designed and implemented a Short Message Center (SMC) that converged Softswitch and IMS network, which supported the SMS smooth migration from the Softswitch to IMS. SMC played the role of application server in IMS architecture, which involves the third-party registration, IMS number and non-IMS address resolution, SIP protocol differences between Softswitch and IMS, and the other issues. The paper started from SMC’s position in IMS, then discussed the needs differences between Softswitch SMC and IMS SMC. Besides, proposed IMS SMC specific functional requirements, designed IMS SIP protocol adaptation methods, the third-party registration processing logic, ENUM address resolution processing logic, integration routing rules, so as to achieve the converged SMC equipment. Last, I tested the converged SMC.
