大学讨论式教学研究—管理的维度

A Study on "Discussion" Teaching Model of Undergraduate Education from the Perspective of Educational Management

【摘要】 近期出台的《国家中长期人才发展规划纲要》和《国家中长期教育改革和发展规划纲要》明确指出了国家对创新型人才需求的紧迫性和重要性。与此同时,人们的教育观、知识观和人才观也发生了很大变革,社会对培养具有创新精神和实践能力的创新型人才的要求愈发迫切。大学教学的改革与创新也日益成为大众关注的焦点。《关于进一步加强高等学校本科教学工作的若干意见》中提到:“积极推进讨论式教学、案例教学等教学方法和合作式学习方式,引导大学生了解多种学术观点并开展讨论、追踪本学科领域最新进展,提高自主学习和独立研究的能力。”可见,讨论式教学已经成为大学教学改革与创新的必由之路。本文主要采用文献法、历史法和观察法,从管理的维度对大学讨论式教学进行了比较深入的研究。不仅从理论上分析了大学讨论式教学的实质、功能和理论基础,而且追溯中外大学讨论式教学的历史,呈现了讨论式教学在我国的实施现状,更注重大学讨论式教学在实践层面上的组织与实施和推进策略。基于所研究问题的特殊性,本文首先分析了大学讨论式教学的内涵和特征,论述了大学讨论式教学的功能,为下文提供了理论依据;其次,运用历史历史法,考察了中外大学讨论式教学的历史源流,理性地审视了我国大学讨论式教学的应用现状;再次,从管理的维度论述了大学讨论式教学应坚持的原则与方法,具体实施程序和操作模式,介绍讨论前的准备与思考、讨论中的组织与实施、讨论后的评价与反思的过程,依据大学讨论式教学的原则,提出了七种操作模式,并提出了高效的大学讨论式教学实施的条件,图片形式展示了大学讨论式教学的座位模式;最后,就如何推进大学讨论式教学的开展与实施从学校宏观管理、教学管理、教师管理和学生自我管理四个层面提出了有针对性的策略。

【Abstract】 Recently, the Ministry of Education launched the "Development Plan Outline for Long Term Talents" and the "Development Plan Outline for Medium and Long Term Educational Reform". Meanwhile, great changes occur in the viewpoints on education, knowledge and talents. The demand of cultivating creative talents with the innovation spirit and the practical ability is becoming more and more urgent accordingly. Besides, the reform and innovation of undergraduate education also become the focus of public attention. The "Proposals on Further Strengthening Undergraduate Education" proposes that we should promote "discussion" teaching model, "case" teaching model and corporative learning to guide undergraduate students understand academic views deeply and conduct discussions in the fields at the leading edge so that they would improve their abilities of self-regulated learning and independent research. Therefore, the "discussion" teaching model has become the only access to the reform and innovation of teaching methods of undergraduate education.The research on "discussion" teaching model of undergraduate education would enrich the relative theories and the system of teaching methods. Moreover, it could also provide a new train of thought for teachers to guide themselves improve their teaching methods spontaneously. The implementation of "discussion" teaching model could improve the quality of undergraduate education, train new type talents, promote the professional development of college and university teachers, and thus create an democratic and free atmosphere for teaching and learning. The "discussion" teaching of undergraduate education breaks the traditional passive teaching mode, and increases the involvement and participation of students in the course of each link of the teaching procedure, from searching for information to thinking and discussing problems with critical opinion, from feedback to evaluation, in terms of the dialogues between texts and students, teachers and students, students themselves. The implementation of deliberative teaching mode could not only enhance students’sense of self-consciousness, participation and democracy but also improve their initiative and independence. In addition, it is conducive to raising their oral presentation skills, logical thinking, self-evaluation and independent working ability. Therefore, to make a systematic research on deliberative teaching theoretically and practically is of great importance."Discussion" teaching model is widely used in the classroom teaching in both primary and secondary school. Comparatively, it is still rarely used in undergraduate education. Although, some teachers served to undergraduate education are active in the attempt, but for the lack of related theories, they are not able to cope with a wide range of problems in the course of the discussion, thus it is hard to sustain in the long run. This thesis elaborates on the content of "discussion" teaching model, the theoretical basis of it, the characteristics and function of it, the history of it, the organization and implement of it, and the promoting strategies of it, etc. This research not only enriches the relative theories of "discussion" teaching model of undergraduate education, but also provides cultivating tactics for teachers served to undergraduate education.
