GSM无线网络优化方法研究

【摘要】 对于移动通信运营商来说,随着运营商重组的完成,运营商之间的竞争将更加激烈。同时随着3G网络的开通,原有的GSM移动通信网将逐步减少投资,今后GSM的网络优化将成为移动通信运营商保持网络质量稳步提升的重点。网络优化的目的就是找到影响网络质量的主要因素并最终达到更好的网络。网络优化可以提升网络质量从而提升用户满意度和运营商的竞争力。网络优化主要可以解决弱覆盖、越区覆盖、上下链路话务不平衡、孤岛效应、无线干扰和其他由此引起的网络问题,例如掉话、呼叫失败和切换失败。另外,网络优化可以降低由话务不平衡引起的话务拥塞或空闲问题。论文首先介绍了GSM网络的系统结构,深入分析了与网络优化密切相关的GSM移动网络中的一些关键技术:GSM移动网络中蜂窝技术与频率复用、TDMA空中接口技术、分集接收原理、跳频技术、功率控制,以及网络优化的重要性及网络优化的内容、网络优化中常用的一些方法。结合实际工作,对安康联通GSM网络实际优化中所遇的三类问题(网络覆盖、网络掉话、网络拥塞),分析日常采集的数据,对三种问题产生的原理进行了分析,设计了处理流程,针对不同的问题找出了相应的解决途径,详细分析了由于覆盖、切换、参数设置、设备硬件、干扰、天馈线、传输故障、直放站以及网络升级等原因导致的网络问题及其解决方法。论文中的网络优化方法目前已应用到安康联通的实际优化工作中,并经过实际验证,取得了良好的效果,有效地提高了安康联通GSM网络的质量指标和用户感知。

【Abstract】 For mobile operators, the operators with the completion of the restructuring, competition between operators will become more intense. At the same time as the 3G network launch, the original GSM mobile communications network will be gradually reduced investment, the future of the GSM network optimization will become the mobile communications network operators to maintain the focus on steady improvement in quality.The purpose of network optimization is to find the major factors that affect the quality of network, and ultimately achieve better network performance. It can improve network quality, bringing a higher degree of customers’satisfaction and enhancing an operator’s competence. The major problems that can be resolved through network optimization include low-level signal coverage, overreach coverage, traffic unbalance between uplink and downlink, island effect, radio interference, and other network problems caused by the above reasons, such as call loss, call failure and handover failure. In addition, the optimization can cut down regional traffic congestion or idleness caused by unbalanced traffic loads.First of all,the article introduces GSM network architecture. This article goes deeply into the key technology which is closely bound up with GSM Network Optimization:Cellular Technology and Frequency Reuse TDMA,Diversity Reception, Frequency-Hopping Spread Spectrum and Power Control. Then the importance, the main contents and common methods of NO are discussed. After that the practical problems occurred during the optimization of the GSM network of China Unicom AnKang Branch are studied. We analyzed the causes of some problems, such as bad network coverage, user call dropping, and network congestions and so on, and provide resolutions to them. In this thesis, the analysis for the problerm principle is included also. The work flow and policy and measure for the troubleshooting for network problem is presented also such as Coverage, handover, parameter configuration, Equipment hardware, interference, antenna, transmission, radicalization site and network upgrade. As a test, these resolutions have been applied in the real NO of China Unicom AnKang Branch. It improved GSM network quality and brought a higher degree of customers’satisfaction of China Unicom AnKang Branch.
