基于PC104的视频采集系统设计

【摘要】 随着人们对海洋资源开发的关注。水下机器人成为海洋开发的重要工具之一。本文来源于哈尔滨工程大学水下机器人国防重点实验室项目。完成水下机器人水下目标识别系统中的视频采集系统的设计。本文采用FPGA为主控器件设计了一个PC104接口的视频采集卡,并同Vxworks系统的PC104主机相连接,实现了一个嵌入式的视频采集系统。在采集卡的设计方面,遵循PC104规范,采用堆叠的方式连接。保留了PC104接口的全部功能,便于功能扩展。采用两片SRAM做乒乓操作实现视频的缓存。既满足视频采集的速度要求,又可以节约设计成本。在对SAA7113的控制方面,采用对数据流中SAV(视频开始标志)和EAV(视频结束标志)值的判断来确定视频采集的进程,进而实现对视频采集过程的总体控制。此方法可以节约FPGA的IO口资源。完成了采集卡的单板调试。建立了Vxworks系统的PC104主机与PC104接口的采集卡组成的视频采集系统。并完成了系统的整体调试工作,调试结果表明,PC104主机和采集卡可以正常通信,该视频采集系统可以完成视频图像的采集、显示和保存。证明此设计方案可行,达到了设计的预期效果。

【Abstract】 With the concern about the development of marine resources, underwater robot becomes an important tool for marine development. This project comes from Harbin Engineering University, National Defense Key Laboratory of Underwater Robot Project. As a part of underwater robot’s target recognition system, the video capture system is designed in this paper. The main controller of the video capture card designed with a PC104 interface is based on FPGA. The video capture card connecting to the host PC104 with Vxworks Operation System achieves an embedded video capture system.Followed the PC104 specification, the PC104 interface of the video capture card connecting by stacking retains the full function, ease of extensions. Ping-pong operation achieves the video cache by two SRAM. This design can not only meet the speed requirements of video capture, but also save design cost.In the control of SAA7113, the process of video capture is determined through determining the value of the SAV (start of active data) and EAV (end of active data) in data stream. This method can save I\O port resources.The veneer debugging of the capture card is completed in this paper. The video capture system which is composed of PC104 host with Vxworks Operation System and the video capture card with PC104 interface is established in this paper. Overall debugging of the system is also completed and the debugging results show that the communication between the PC104 host and the capture card can be carried out normally. The capture, display and save of the video and image also can be completed in the debugging process. So the design in this paper is feasible and achieves the desired results.
