【Abstract】 Human needs are the core category of socialist political economy with Chinese characteristics. We can find abundant theoretical nourishment in Marxist classics. Needs are the essence of human beings. Driven by the development of their own strength and productivity, needs are constantly evolving forward. Free and comprehensive development is the highest state of human needs. Human needs are the ultimate driving force of economic, scientific, technological, social, political and cultural development, and the most valuable wealth that human beings possess and sustainably excavate. In the New Era, profound changes have taken place in the needs of Chinese people. Socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era, and the needs of our people have undergone profound changes. High-quality material life, reconciliation between man and nature, fairness and justice, social and political participation have become important factors of the "need for a better life". To realize freedom of choice and improve the quality of life, we should speed up the improvement of the socialism modern market economy system with Chinese characteristics, establish an organic link between social production and people′s needs with the help of modern market economy, while speeding up the construction of social, political and cultural systems to meet people′s all-round needs.更多还原
