小波变换在路用雷达信号处理中的应用

【摘要】 脉冲探地雷达回波信号是典型的非平稳、非线性信号 ,采样信号中不可避免地带有各种噪声 ,需进行适当处理 .小波变换时频局域性好 ,是分析非平稳信号的有效工具之一 .系统地阐述了小波变换的基本理论 ,并采用Mallat算法、小波包算法对雷达检测路面厚度的实测信号进行分析处理 ,然后进行路面层厚度计算 ,最后将计算结果与实际厚度相比较 .对比结果说明了小波分析应用于路用探地雷达回波信号处理的有效性 .

【Abstract】 Signals of a pulse-echo mode ground penetrating radar (GPR) are typically nonstationary and nonlinear. There are inevitably various sorts of noise in the sampling signals,so they must be processed properly. wavelet transform is a good tool to analyze nonstationary signals. In this paper, the basic theory of wavelet transform is described, and Mallat algorithm and wavelet packet are used to analyze the signals that are obtained by measuring some asphalt pavements. After calculating the thickness of pavement layers, the results are compared to the actual values. The results show that the technique can be effectively applied to GPR signal processing.
