【Abstract】 In this paper, we introduce the goals and principles of the five different earthquake source models used in 2008 United States National Seismic Hazard Maps (USNSHM). The routine and the methodology of seismicity parameters obtaining for each source model are discussed in detail. Both significant characteristics and disadvantage of the source and seismicity rate models used in USNSHM are commented here. What we learned from USNSHM is helpful for us to compile the new generation map of seismic ground motion hazard of China in future.更多还原
