【Abstract】 In view of research and application, the multiwave and multicompeonent seismic exploration is a very efficient and promising technique during exploration and development of offshore oil and gas. The geologic correlation of multiwave and multicomponent seismic data is the most important and fundamental work. Wereviewed and developed a horizon correlation method applicable for offshore p-and s-wave data according to the characters of the multiwave seismic data acquired in Yinggehai Basin.
