【Abstract】 First of all, Beijing is traditionally home of the Chinese people and the most important political space. Its urban planning reflects a high degree of harmony and unity. Secondly, Beijing has profound and authentic memories of history and culture, and it also presents an artistic charm while actively transforming itself. It is an immense cultural consumption space. Thirdly, it has developed into a typical post-metropolis. The integration of reality and imagination, center and margin, locality and modernity, all of these duality, presents itself the complexity as " the Third Space".
