【Abstract】 The piling recorder is developed to eorrectly record thelength of the driven pile, hammer blow count per metre, totalhammer blow count and the penetration in the last three rounds.With the accumulation of the above-mentioned data, a SPTcoefficient which represents the relation between SPT and bearingcapacity of soil can be inferred. The data can also help to enhancethe accuracy and reliability of the low-strain dynamic pile testingmethod used currently.
