中国西北地区新构造运动特征及地壳稳定性分析

【摘要】 在分析我国西北地区大地构造背景的基础上,笔者结合前人的研究成果,对区内新构造期以来地壳差异升降、断层活动、地震活动和GPS观测结果等进行了综合研究,认为阿尔金山、祁连山、天山等地区作为古板块边界或陆内造山带发生了大规模的陆内碰撞和造山作用。这些地区断层活动和地震活动频繁,显示其所处位置的地壳相对不稳定;而在古板块内部,地震、断层等活动较弱,地壳相对稳定。根据地壳稳定性分析,将研究区划分为地壳相对稳定区、相对不稳定区和过渡区,为核废处置库选址提供参考依据。

【Abstract】 There are several plates in the Northwestern China,which separated by some orogenic belts or suture zone.Active faults,seismic and GPS study implicated that the crust was strong pressured as the Euro-Asia Plate and India Plate collided together since Tertiary to Quaternary.Altum,Qilian and Tianshan areas as the boundary or orogenic belts are rinsing quickly,at the same time,large EW-trending stress-strip faults have been actived,and seismic frequently occurrs.So,these areas are relatively unstable.On the contrary,large active faults,seismic are rarely in Tarim,Qaidam,Alashan of the plate center,so these areas are relatively more stable than Altum,Qilian Tianshan areas,and could been regarded as the condidate area for the selecting site of nuclear waste disposal.
