【Abstract】 Based on previous study results,including laboratorial experiments,numerical simulations and seismic tomography,this article summarizes some advances in the research of mantle plume morphology.Besides,five diverse yet typical viewpoints regarding the source origin of mantle plumes are Abstracted from present heated debates.Meanwhile,a brief introduction to the tectonics of mantle plumes is presented,its relation to some other tectonics theories discussed.更多还原
