【Abstract】 Since the reform and opening-up,an increasing number of Chinese women have been joining in the field of philanthropy, female charitable organizations are growing, and charitable projects concerning women and children are thriving as well. The development of female charity has a significant impact on alleviating social contradictions and promoting social fairness and harmony. However, at present, China’s academic circle and researches has not given due attention to female charity, and in this aspect are far behind the practical need. Reviewing the history of female charity practice and evaluating the current situation of female charitable movements contribute a lot to understanding of women’s commitment and strength in charity operation and social development, and helps advance the charitable undertakings of the entire society.更多还原
