康德的实践性教育:强制与自由的悖论

【摘要】 在一般意义上,自由与强制是难以共存于教育艺术之中的,因为二者是矛盾的。不过,在康德那里,他在界定教育是艺术时,又把"强制"与"自由"同时纳入了教育艺术之中。于是,教育是自由的艺术,同时又是强制的艺术。康德看到了这一难题,但并不认为这是一种悖论。如若进入到康德的哲学文本和教育学本文中,会发现康德的自由与强制在他的"实践性教育"概念中存在着不可化解的悖论。也就是说,一方面,实践性教育是自由的艺术,但同时实践性教育又是强制的艺术,这实际是一种悖论。这一悖论的产生,与康德对亚里士多德的教育哲学的反动有直接的关系。

【Abstract】 In a general sense, freedom and compulsion are difficult to coexist in the art of education, because the two are contradictory. However, in Kant’s opinion, when he defined education as art, he included "compulsion" and "freedom" into the art of education at the same time. Then education is both the art of freedom and the art of compulsion. If we read Kant’s philosophical texts and pedagogical texts, we will find that Kant’s freedom and compulsion are unsolvable paradoxes in his concept of "practical education". That is to say, practical education is the art of freedom, but at the same time it is also the art of compulsion, which is a paradox. The emergence of this paradox is directly related to the reaction of Kant’s educational philosophy to Aristotle’s educational philosophy.
