【Abstract】 The new era is still a period of strategic opportunities for China. Why? Where are the opportunities? And how to seize them? The answers to these questions are closely related to the favorable world situation today which China has never encountered in the past century. This paper analyzes this situation,and points out that the new era of strategic opportunities consists in creating opportunities for development,differing from the past when we could take advantage of good opportunities. The trade war between the U.S. and China has helped us understand the principal contradiction facing China,that is,who can take the lead in making the world’s rules and standards? Releasing a bigger market by opening up and Overtaking the advanced countries by taking advantage of the technological revolution constitute the favorable basic conditions China is facing at home and abroad. Meanwhile,the Belt and Road Initiative and the idea of constructing a human community with a shared future have helped demonstrate China’s plan and Chinese wisdom in resolving problems facing mankind,and they will also create more strategic opportunities for China.更多还原
