【Abstract】 The formation conditions and geologic structures of Lower Jurassic in southeastern West Siberia are studied. Thirty-six isolated depositional basins are classified into according to its composite interpretations of seismic prospecting and drilling data. Detailed studies of conditions for forming such depositional basins as Wuski-Term, Ker-toger and Nurole are incorporated to the paleogeographic analyses of these areas, finding out the most favorable petroleum-bearing areas or zones.
