Lustre并行文件系统在地震数据处理中的应用
Application of Lustre parallel file system in seismic data processing
【摘要】 随着石油勘探技术的发展,传统网络文件系统(NFS)的I/O性能严重制约了海量地震数据处理的效率,基于对象存储的Lustre并行文件系统可以解决NFS文件系统在可扩展性、可用性和性能上的问题。本文简要介绍了Lustre并行文件系统的架构及其优势,以及在GeoEast地震数据处理系统中的应用。实际应用证明Lustre并行文件系统能有效降低GeoEast处理系统的I/O瓶颈。
【Abstract】 With the development of petroleum prospecting,the performance of traditional Network File system(NFS) has seriously restricted the efficiency of massive seismic data processing.Objected-based Lustre parallel file system can solve the scalability,availability and performance of NFS.This paper briefly introduced the architecture and advantages of Lustre parallel file system,and the application of Lustre in GeoEast Seismic Data Processing System.Actually,Lustre can efficiently reduce the I/O bottleneck of GeoEast system.
