【Abstract】 New high resolution seismic geophone is a kind of sensor which transforms mechanical energy into electricity. New series of geophone are used in geophysical and geological exploration, engineering, space industry, national defense, security monitoring and scientific research. This paper makes a general introduction on New geophone, describes its working principle, features, advantages and disadvantages.
