【Abstract】 There are two kinds of ocean-bottom cable, three kinds of geophone with two types for each and two kinds of jumper with four types for each in Ocean Petroleum Exploration Joint Venture at present time. Different kinds of ocean-bottom cable should match with different junipers and geophones. And more than 5 ways are available to connect ocean-bottom cable to reach different requirements from various clients. However, many connecting ways will also cause a lot of troubles for the operators.
