【Abstract】 Exploration geophysics is a very important branch of geophysics. It has been widely used in geosciences. Considerable progresses of the exploration geophysics in development of equipment, data acquisition and pre-processing and 2D or 3D inversion have been made for the last few years in the world. Especially, remarkable progresses have been achieved in full-tensor gravity gradient survey system, HTc SQUID technique, airborne three-axis magnetic gradient survey system, high-resolution EM survey system with large detection depth and 3D seismic technology, making the exploration geophysics into a new era.The exploration geophysics in China, though also with great achievements obtained, is now facing serious challenges, such as the brain drain, large and comprehensive equipment need to be imported, and innovatory ability being weakened for the last 20 years, etc. While on the other hand, the exploration geophysics in China is having great opportunities because of the huge demands of mineral resources and oil & gas.We believe the undesired situation will be changed provided some key research projects mentioned are organized and carried out meticulously.更多还原
