【Abstract】 This paper briefly introduces the design of the Trap Description & Evaluation System. Based upon the researches of geology models and evaluation methods in many hydrocarbon exploration areas, we developed its software system platform in Solaris environment on Sun Sparc Workstation, which can improves the scientificity and accuracy of the trap description & evaluation.
