【摘要】 服务器虚拟化为世界各地的数据中心解决了很多问题,但同时它也向数据中心提出了挑战。有限的可扩展性和过于复杂的管理框架增加了数据中心成本,同时降低了业务需求的响应能力。思科统一计算系统通过新一代数据中心平台解决了上述问题,此平台将计算、网络、存储管理和虚拟化功能统一到一个综合系统中,进行集中管理,简化了当今数据中心服务器和网络部署的方式,使IT管理者的工作重心从繁琐、耗时的维护工作中解脱出来。本文通过统一计算平台特点的介绍及具体的部署案例对思科统一计算系统在数据中心虚拟化建设中的应用进行探讨,为数据中心虚拟化建设者提供参考。更多还原

【Abstract】 Server virtualization has solved many problems for the data centers around the world, but it also brings a challenge to the data center. Limited extensibility and complex management framework increase the cost of the data center, and reduce the response of the business requirments. Cisco UCS can solve these problems through a new generation of data center. The integrated system includes computing, networking, storage management and virtualization functions. Central management simplifies the way of server and network in today’s data center. IT managers can be liberated from the tedious, time-consuming work. This paper introduces the application of UCS in the data center through the features of the UCS and a specific deployment case.Data center managers may get some reference from this paper.更多还原
