【Abstract】 The Paper introduces the functions and characteristics for the latest Sercel 408UL telemetry seismic instruments made in Sercel Inc. In the latest Sercel 408UL, there are some total new concepts, including Link, Seismic Area Network, Copilot and Full Digital System etc. The paper presents an overview that the use of Sercel 408UL indicates the development of seismic prospecting instruments gets into a new historical period, i. e.
