【Abstract】 Comb filter. a kind of very simple FIR digital filter with all coefficients being positive integer, is commonly used as the first order decimation filter is 2-d A/D converters. This paper analyzes the frequency characteristics of comb filter and the principle of using comb filter as decimation filter. It is specially pointed Out that the comb filter has the property of preserving spectral shape of noise from Σ－△A/D moodulation.
