【Abstract】 Wave impedance inversion using wave equation has not been used in practicalseismic data processing because of some troubles such as too much computation,poor stability and so on. Overlapped segmental inversion using 1-D wave equationcan well remove the troubles because of its quite small computation,high accuracyand good stability.
