【Abstract】 The study on seismicity of M4.0 earthquakes in North Shanxi and the crossed area of Shanxi, Hebei and Inner Mongolia before several medium-strong shocks was made. The conclusion is that the characteristic of seismicity is from anomaly intensifying to anomaly silence and last, to signal earthquake. The authors think it seems that M4.0 earthquakes in this area could be taken as foreshocks of some medium-strong earthquakes and it is worth to be studied further.更多还原
