【Abstract】 This paper presents the application of fractal theory to the evaluation of structural fractures in reservoirs and puts forward a grid-coverage method to calculate the fractal dimension. Taking the cores from bumed hills of Shenyang oil field as an example, the authors analyzed the feasibility and reliability of using the fractal dimension D value to quantitatively describe the complexity of reservoir fractures, which provides a practical and applicable method for quantitatively describing, predicting and further studying the structural fractures of reservoirs as well as enhancing the recovery factor of oil and gas in low permeability and unconventional reservoirs.更多还原
