【摘要】 1906年旧金山地震发生后,中国媒体迅速进行了报道,但华侨受灾情况不明,让国人非常担忧。在民族主义的推动下,上海各报刊为华侨发起了一场声势浩大的募捐热潮,北京各报刊则积极声援华侨的权益,都产生了很大的影响。不过,这次地震在中国的新闻传播是值得反思的。清政府没有发挥自己的信息优势,使华侨受灾情况不明,导致国内报刊过于关注华侨问题,而忽视了灾情远为严重的湖南特大水灾。更多还原

【Abstract】 When San Francisco earthquake happened in 1906,the media in China reported it rapidly,but the stricken condition of overseas Chinese was unclear,which worried the people in China very much.Driven by nationalism,the media in Shanghai launched a large campaign to raise funds for overseas Chinese,and the media in Beijing supported the rights of overseas Chinese actively,which made a big influence.However,the communication of the news of earthquake should be re-considered.The main problem is that the Qing government didn’t exert its advantage of information,and made the condition of overseas Chinese unclear,which made the media pay attention to overseas Chinese excessively,but neglected the Hunan flood which was much more serious than the earthquake.更多还原
