【Abstract】 Based on seismic-related damage characteristics and the capacity for seismic monitoring in the Shanghai area,this paper seeks to establish a rapid assessment system for urban seismicity and a method for its implementation.Using ground acceleration,ground velocity,soft-land vibration reaction,and the predominant period of structures as the basic parameters,the system is able to quickly produce contour maps of seismic acceleration and seismic intensity,and to quickly and effectively estimate the regional distribution of seismic-related damage.Thus,the system could help the government to promptly conduct emergency measures and earthquake relief after a damaging seismic event.更多还原
